The Belmont Shops Roof Replacement project delivered important infrastructure upgrades to one of Belmont’s long-standing retail precincts. Located in the centre of the community, the shopping strip supports a wide range of local businesses, including restaurants, retail stores, and personal service providers.
Kennedys Group completed the project between February and May 2023 under the leadership of Project Manager Rick Slevison. Supported by a team of six commercial plumbers, the project required careful planning, strong communication, and efficient delivery within an active retail environment.
Our team replaced 500 square metres of roofing to improve long-term durability and weather protection across the site. In addition, we installed insulation blanket material to improve energy efficiency and internal climate control for tenants.
The project also included full gutter replacement works to resolve ongoing drainage issues throughout the building. Furthermore, Kennedys Group installed new downpipes and overflow systems to improve stormwater management and protect the structure from future water damage.
Because businesses remained operational throughout construction, our team prioritised clear communication and staged works carefully to minimise disruption. We maintained strict safety controls across the site while ensuring surrounding businesses could continue daily operations safely.
