One of our recent projects, led by Project Manager Andrew Robson, involved the vital fire service upgrades in Glen Iris.
Our team of four plumbers expertly carried out the removal of redundant services and the installation of a new inline diesel pump set to service five hydrants and two hose reels.
The project presented unique challenges due to the restricted site conditions, including tight working spaces and uneven ground. Despite these obstacles, the team executed the work with remarkable precision, avoiding any service strikes during boring and excavation—a significant achievement given the density of live services throughout the site.
To ensure minimal disruption to the facility, extensive preplanning was required. All work had to be completed within the holiday closure period, allowing us to maintain a safe environment and adhere to the project timeline.
