As part of our ongoing commitment to upgrading critical infrastructure across Victoria, the Kennedys Group Dandenong team recently completed a major fire service system upgrade at a government facility in the outer suburbs of East Melbourne.
Led by Project Manager Andrew Robson, the seven-person crew delivered a full-scale upgrade of the existing system, starting with the removal of outdated fire service infrastructure. The team then installed a new inline diesel pump set, purpose-built to support the upgraded fire protection system and ensure long-term reliability and compliance.
To support the new installation, a concrete slab was constructed on site, followed by detailed boring works to accommodate new services and connections. The team also carried out high-quality reinstatement across the site, restoring all affected areas to a clean and professional standard.
This project was delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to the day-to-day operations of the facility, a testament to the skill and coordination of our Dandenong crew.
