Due to the rapid growth of our client’s business, our Geelong Branch team was selected to undertake a comprehensive upgrade of various plumbing services across our client’s production facility located in South Geelong. Additionally, the team were tasked with expanding the current trade system across the client’s newly expanded grounds.
Modernizing the existing infrastructure was required to accommodate increased production demands and ensuring the facility’s infrastructure could support future growth.
Under the leadership of Senior Project Manager Rick Slevison, our team of six specialists collaborated with the client and various trades, including electrical, demolition and concreting experts, to develop a comprehensive strategy for the extensive upgrade and expansion project.
The scope of works included:
- Removal of existing concrete pits.
- Extension of the existing trade waste system.
- Installation of Europipe push-fit 316 S/S pipework.
- Denso wrapping of below-ground pipework.
- Installation of an FRP Pit Assembly
- Relocation of the existing pump into a new tank.
- Extension of underground cable and connection of new trade waste systems.
The project was executed alongside ongoing site operations, requiring careful planning and coordination. Our team collaborated closely with the client to address logistical challenges and ensure a smooth transition to the new infrastructure.
