About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Plumber with extensive industrial maintenance experience to join our team at our Williamstown branch. This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced individual capable of leading teams, managing complex maintenance tasks, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across industrial sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing a wide range of clients, ensuring industrial plumbing maintenance and project works are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing large-scale plumbing systems within industrial/commercial facilities.
- Maintaining industrial plumbing equipment.
- Diagnosing and fixing leaks, clogs, pressure issues, and other problems within intricate plumbing systems.
- Adhering to strict safety procedures related to working in hazardous environments, including confined spaces, high pressure systems, and chemical exposure.
- Understanding complex industrial plumbing plans to accurately locate and repair issues.
- Managing and executing project works, including below ground civil works, fire service installations, and industrial facility upgrades.
- Providing leadership and mentoring to junior plumbers and apprentices.
- Coordinating with clients, site managers, and project teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Plumber with a strong background in industrial plumbing maintenance, including experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial plumbing systems.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance plumbing.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage jobs, and lead teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Essential Licenses and Certifications:
- Certification in Plumbing from a recognised and accredited post-secondary institution.
- Manual driver’s license.
- Working with Children Check.
- Police Check.
- Working safely at heights training.
- Permanent rights to work in Australia.
- Red or White Card.
- Scissor Lift | EWP ticket (over 11 meters).
